Everyone can benefit from a better night's rest.
This is a great summary of a study done by Indiana University.
Walking at work has been touted as a great way to normalize blood flow, decrease low back pain and increase morale in the workplace. This video sums everything up nicely from a walking study done by Indiana University. An increase in muscle activity thus creating better blood flow was shown to normalize arterial function in the body. If workers are allowed to sit for periods, blood tends to pool in the legs since muscles are not effectively helping circulation go back to the heart as talked about in this video from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Working out and exercising can be one of the best things you can do for yourself both mentally and physically. It releves stress, maintains a healthy weight and increases strength and endurance. There are a few common things many people forget when they start a new workout regimen or have even been working out for years. Here's a list of the main ones according to Dr. Mercola.
1. Skipping the Warm-Up
2. Not Feeding Your Muscles After a Strenuous Workout
3. Concentrating on a Single Body Area and Using a Limited Range of Motion
4. Training Too Long and Too Frequently
5. Inadequate Sleep
6. Talking Too Much
7. Using Incorrect Form

It's that time of year again--football season! At ChiroElite Chiropractic, we are big fans of our Green Bay Packers. Aaron Rodgers is also a huge fan of chiropractic.
His father is actually a chiropractor in California, and Aaron attributes much of his success to the healthy lifestyle that chiropractic has provided him.
“I am blessed that my dad is a chiropractor,” Rodgers said. “Getting adjusted regularly–along with practicing other good health habits that my mom helped me to establish–are all part of my goal to win in life and on the field.”
His dad has been quoted as saying: "The structure of the human body, especially the spine and its relationship to function, can be impacted by the physical nature of accidents, falls, poor posture and injuries," -Dr. Rodgers

Another great performance at the Sounds of Summer Concert Series in Downtown Eau Claire's Phoenix Park. Put on by Volume One and a sleu of community sponsors, bands from around the area have been bringing in large gatherings every week. This week they hosted the Tropo Big Band from Chippewa Falls. They played an assortment of jazz ensembles and a few other well known songs such as YMCA and Bohemian Rapsody. The kids were dancing in front of the band and quite a few adults joined in as well.
There are two more concerts before the end of the series so be sure to catch one before it's too late!

Even though everything looks perfect in the video, there were many outtakes and injuries sustained while filming. Martyn Ashton actually sustained a severe spinal injury from a fall during one of his stunts. Take care of your spine and it will take care of you.
